Olive Grows (LLC) is a rare and exotic houseplant and plant supply company rooted in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Founded by Kate Norton—a passionate plant collector and proud Marine Corps veteran—Olive Grows began as a financially responsible way to support a growing love for plants

With an inventory of over 2,000 plants, we offer something for everyone—from curious beginners to lifelong collectors. Our selection includes everything from Monsteras and Alocasias to Philodendrons, Hoyas, Anthuriums, Scindapsus, and more. It’s truly a collector’s dream!

We serve customers nationwide through online platforms like OliveGrows.com, Palmstreet, local Facebook and plant purge groups, and in-person pop-ups and markets. Our growing community of plant lovers has become the heart of what we do.

Every plant is sourced from trusted U.S. nurseries and reputable international growers. We carefully acclimate each one to ensure it arrives healthy, pest-free, and rooted in success. More than a business, Olive Grows is a growing community—and a new family tradition. The name honors Kate’s daughter, Olive Mae, whose curiosity and love for digging in the dirt inspired it all.
